For as long as I can remember I have spent my time sketching. Growing up I would wander off over the fields to draw the countryside, be delighted when my pictures won primary school competitions and decorate any available space on the house walls with my stick people, much to my parent’s frustration.

Although many characters have been created over the years my three main commercially successful children's brands are Humphrey’s Corner, Digby Dragon and My Unusual Friends. All different, but I hope in their individual ways they have brought and continue to bring, pleasure and fun to young children and parents alike, through the books or TV and different products and merchandise.

I feel immensely fortunate and blessed that I have been able to make a living out of conjuring up their worlds and personalities, then getting to hang out with them!
